The Dream

I have a dream. It is the dream of having my own business. I've started it slowly to test the waters, but now I'm going to go out there on that major life limb. I have a muffin delivery service called BlueBelle Muffins. I've been working on it for the past eight months or so. It's going well, but I'm running into a few snags. The number one is finding the kitchen space and storage space for my goods. So, a few weeks ago I was searching for real estate offices that I'd like to eventually sell my muffins to. In the process, I saw this cute little house. Upon closer inspection, I saw that this house has a little kitchen in a separate building that would be perfect for my business. I love this house and it's going to be the home where I fully start my business and raise my daughter. However, with the world economy being what it is, getting a loan is impossible. To make matters even crazier, my company is closing in less than a month and I'll be out of a job shortly. I want to buy this house without getting into a mortgage that I can't pay. This business will give me and my daughter a chance at a future that isn't dictated by a company that will lay me off when they run out of money. I am going to move into 46 Saugatuck Avenue on April 2nd, but I can't do this alone. I need help. So, what am I asking for?
I'm asking for $3. Three dollars alone isn't a lot of money, but when people come together and help me, this can add up to the money that I need to buy this house and start my business. This is crazy. It's not normal. It's not begging. It's going after a dream and asking other people to join me in making it happen. So, I've started this blog and I'm going after this dream. I'll keep everyone posted and together we'll make this happen. The next step is to make a link here and to get cards to give out to people.
But, I'll keep blogging and we'll see what happens.
